As a small, rural congregation, everyone is on the team! People volunteer their time and talents to create and sustain incredibly strong ministries that serve the Sundre area with deep love.

Senior Pastor

Rev. Todd MacDonald

Rev. Todd & Natalie MacDonald started in ministry in Calgary, AB and moved to Nova Scotia for five years before receiving a call to take on the role of Senior Pastor at Sundre in the fall of 2015. They have worked together in counselling, developing churches, working with church planting, retreats, music ministry, preaching and team building and much more! Pastor Todd and Natalie have a passion for people and can be found at local care homes and seniors facilities singing and bringing the message of hope in Christ.

Natalie MacDonald

Natalie faithfully leads worship on Sunday mornings with her incredible voice and tender spirit (and you'll also find her behind the AV board making the service run smoothly both in the sanctuary and online).

Natalie and Todd truly function as a ministry team! Their mission is to take ministry back to basics and offer a Christian gathering experience that is safe for those seeking answers in God's word. God is all about relationship and that is their focus first and foremost; relationship in Christ and relationship in community.

Pastor Todd & Natalie love spending time in the great outdoors, camping in the west country, a day at the beach or just hanging out with their family and friends and their dogs Fergus and Skye!

Eryn Austin-Bergen

Eryn serves as the part-time Associate Pastor of Community. She is passionate about equipping the whole people of God to read and interpret the Bible, and apply it to every area of life.

She spend a lot of time listening to the wider Sundre and Bergen communities to hear their needs and desires, and mobilize the family of God to respond in love.

With two daughters, two dogs, three cows, four ducks, nine chickens, and one very ambitious husband, Eryn's days are never boring!
